Every donation to Mustakabali Wetu–Our Future goes directly to supporting vulnerable children in Mogotio, Baringo County, Kenya. We are a small, community-based organization with minimal overhead, which means that the vast majority of every dollar donated reaches the children and families we serve. Your contribution is not just a gift — it is an investment in a child's future, a family's stability, and a community's prosperity.

The reality of education in rural Kenya is stark. To access even basic education, families must pay school fees starting from kindergarten — what is known locally as "Baby Class." These fees range from $120 to $300 per year, not including uniforms, books, and supplies. For families earning as little as $2 per day, or less than $500 per year, these costs are simply impossible. Without support, children end up on the streets, engaged in child labour, or denied the opportunity to build a better life.

Your donation changes this reality. It keeps children in school, fed, healthy, and hopeful. It breaks the cycle of poverty and creates a ripple effect of positive change that extends far beyond the individual child to their family, their community, and future generations.

How Your Donation Helps

• $25 — Provides school supplies, books, and writing materials for one child for a term
• $50 — Covers a school uniform, shoes, and basic supplies for one child
• $100 — Funds nutritious meals for one child for an entire school term
• $120 — Covers one year of kindergarten (Baby Class) school fees
• $300 — Covers one year of high school fees for an older student
• $500 — Provides comprehensive support — fees, meals, supplies, and mentorship — for one child for a full year

Monthly Sponsorship

Monthly donations help us plan ahead, maintain stable programs, and ensure that no child is left without support due to funding gaps. As a monthly sponsor, you will receive regular updates on your sponsored child's progress.

Child Sponsorship

Sponsor a specific child and develop a personal connection with their journey. You will receive photos, school reports, and personal messages from your sponsored child. This direct connection creates a powerful bond and gives you the satisfaction of watching a child grow and thrive thanks to your support.

In-Kind Donations

We also welcome in-kind donations including school supplies, books, clothing, food items, and medical supplies. If you are traveling to Kenya or have connections with organizations that can provide these items, please contact us to coordinate.
